the seaside
the passionate ramblings
of the waves
The stars
they blink faraway
some thousands, no countless
miles away
A hamlet
humming
silent whispers
in the horizon
Evening waves
swearing his undying love
inspite having to leave the shore
Of having to pull away
Unsure convincing whether she understood
But still beyond
And I sit beside
Witnessing the eternal pain
The stars
They too Witness
If I may say
The buzz
In the not so silent array
The wind the sun the moon
Everything takes him away
And yet brings him back again
Friday Writings #212: Luxurious Feels
I don't know about luxury, but I like watching the waves on the seashore imagining stories
That sounds like a luxurious experience to me, yes! And the poem is beautifully crafted.
ReplyDeleteWondrous! The buoyant sea does give and take, indeed!
ReplyDeleteThe sea is so mysterious! it sings, it dances, it walks back and forth every night, it takes things but brings them back - the sea is a grown up child!
ReplyDeleteI too think it's romantic the way t he waves and shoreline meet and that that sun and moon are in the sky at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThe sea takes away, but will always come back.
ReplyDeleteNice one, Jossina!
